Ashley, a Murfreesboro native, graduated from Vanderbilt in 2001 with a Masters in Nursing. She began her career working as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care and transitioned into a full-time aesthetic nurse and skin care specialist in 2010.
Ashley is married to Shane and they have 3 boys – Eli, Luke and Drew. Her loves include traveling, reading, Burn Boot Camp and anything related to skin care and aesthetics.

Born in Florida and raised in New Mexico, Hannah is married to Casey and together they have a daughter, Adaline. Hannah attended and graduated MTSU with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with emphasis in ORCO and Leadership Management. After graduating, she traded in her Starbucks apron for patient care coordinating and skin care at Ashley McFarland Aesthetics.

Blair Akers, RN, has been a resident of Murfreesboro since 1997. She graduated from MTSU School of Nursing in 2006. Blair began her nursing career at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in the NICU where she worked for 10 years. Aesthetic medicine became a passion for her thanks to Ashley McFarland. Blair joined Ashley at Ashley McFarland Aesthetics in 2017, and it was a positive and exciting professional decision. Blair continually expands her knowledge base and skill sets by attending aesthetic specific trainings.

Fun Fact: Blair is married to her high school sweetheart, Chuck Akers, and they have two beautiful children, Layne and Nori. Blair loves being a part of the AMA team.
Kim has lived in Murfreesboro, TN, since 1992 and graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Kim has over 20 years of experience ranging from corporate to public accounting and small business accounting. She is married to her husband Derrick and together have two sons Carter and Jake.

Courtney was born in California and raised in the South Florida. After migrating to Tennessee, Courtney attended MTSU where she focused on health education. Upon graduating, Courtney took her skill set to Nashville where she worked in plastic and cosmetic surgery. It was there that she grew a passion for the diverse field of aesthetics. Courtney is married to her husband, Ryan. With any spare time, Courtney can be found packing to travel someplace new.

Nicholas Tarola is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive training in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. A native of Pennsylvania, Tarola graduated from Muhlenberg College. He obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and then stayed to complete his residency in general surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Finally, he moved with his wife and children to Nashville, where he completed his plastic surgery training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
